The initial idea that would become Sirveo started in 2022, as an experimental project that would speed up the implementation of common online customer support use cases.
In 2023, while testing a prototype SaaS platform, that initial idea evolved into a more ambitious goal. The aim became the development of a self-hosted automation platform, with enough flexibility to handle both in-browser customer support, as well as API-driven, system-to-system orchestration.
To this end, initial design work begun in September 2023.
Following 12 alpha releases, Sirveo reached its first stable release in February 2024. As of version 0.2.0
, approximately 75% of the planned features and capabilities have been implemented.
The remaining capabilities are gradually being introduced as Sirveo progress to 1.0.0
,
which will represent a feature-complete Sirveo, as per the original roadmap.
